Kennington Health Centre

How Do I...
Make An Appointment?

You can make an appointment by calling in or telephoning between 8.30am and 6.00pm (closed 1.00 - 2.00pm). Please let the receptionist know as early as possible if you are unable to keep your appointment, so that it can be given to someone else. The doctors like to look after their own patients if possible, but you may make an appointment with any of them. Re-registering with another doctor within the practice will not cause offence.

We aim to be able to offer a routine appointment with a doctor within two working days, but if you need to be seen more urgently you can be seen on the same day (this will not necessarily be with your own doctor). New patients are invited to meet their doctor for a health check soon after registration.

How Do I...
Speak To My Doctor

If you would like to speak to your doctor on the telephone, ring in during a morning when your doctor has a surgery, give your name and number to the receptionist, and your doctor will call you back, after surgery. The receptionists will be able to let you know roughly what time that will be.

How Do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?

If you are too ill to come to the health centre, a home visit can be arranged by telephone. It is helpful if you can phone before 11.30am so that the doctors can plan their rounds before leaving the health centre. Explaining to the receptionist what is wrong will also help the doctor to see the most urgent cases first.

How Do I...
Obtain Test Results?

For enquiries or results of tests please call between 2.00 - 3.00pm when the receptionist will have more time to help you.
